After eight matches, the Romeo High School varsity wrestlers were down by just four points (19-15) to the number two seed Hartland at the MHSAA Wrestling Team State Quarterfinals held Friday, February 26, at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, but three straight pins by Hartland at 140, 145 and 152 pounds gave the Eagles a 35-15 lead and they went on to win 47-21 over the seven-seeded Bulldogs to advance to the semifinals.  (more...)
