AUTISM SPECTRUM PICNIC Friends of Jacob Foundation's 2nd Annual Family Picnic will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, at the K of C picnic grounds on 21 Mile Road and M-53. Activities will run from 1-4 p.m. and include food, a resource fair, bounce house, music and children's activities. Friends of Jacob is a non profit organization enriching the lives of families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. Visit www.Friendsofjacob.org * * * * HAYRIDES AT METROPARKS Hayrides will begin at the Huron-Clinton Metroparks this month. On Sundays, Sept. 12, 19 and 26, from noon-3 p.m., Cider and Donut Wagon Rides will be held at Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center. Participants can take a wagon ride and enjoy a cup of cider and a donut. For information call the farm at (586) 752-5932. |
